Current Incentives
Our current economic crisis has taught us one thing: We cannot afford to be wasteful or complacent. It is imperative that we take the steps necessary to use the energy we produce as efficiently as possible, and to minimize the waste of our precious resources.
Programs offered by the Federal and State government, as well as local businesses, can subsidize over a third of the cost of your new windows.
Incentives:
2010 Federal Tax Credit: You may take a one time federal tax credit of 30% of the cost of your new windows, up to a maximum of $1500.00. In order to qualify to take the credit in 2010, the installation of your new windows would have to be completed prior to the end of the year.
Milgard Manufacturer Rebate: Milgard is offering a rebate of up to $750 ($20 per window, $80 per sliding door) for Tuscany products with the 3DMax energy package. Requires the purchase of 5 or more windows. Offer expires 12/31/09.
Windows Only Matching Rebate: Windows Only is offering a rebate of up to $750 ($25 per window, and $50 per sliding door). Offer expires 2/15/10.
Energy Trust Of Oregon Rebate: The energy trust of Oregon offers a $2.25 SF rebate for qualifying window replacment jobs. To qualify for the rebate it does require a 2nd measure (such as insulation or air sealing), however the 2nd measure also comes with its own rebate.
